Women for Europe arrive in KilkennyA group of Women for Europe travelled to Kilkenny on Saturday to talk to women in the South East.  Travelling on the train were MEPs Nessa Childers and Mairead McGuinness, Secretary General of the European Commission, Catherine Day and Chair Olive Braiden.

The group managed to talk to a lot of women on the train to Kilkenny and met lots of locals travelling up for the match on Sunday on the way back!   It was fantastic to get an opportunity to meet so many women at the event in the Newpark Hotel.

Chair Olive Braiden spoke at the event saying, "Last time round we were subjected to a cacophony of negative women's voices, those elected and unelected who spread dear and misinformation and there is a real fear that this will happen again.  Women for Europe are determined to reverse this in this Treaty debate."
